These recommendations apply to personally owned computers that will be used to access Cornell services. Faculty and staff using university-owned computers should work with their unit's technical support and business office.

The Technology Connection, located in The Cornell Store, sells and services computers from Apple, Dell, and HP at exclusive Cornell prices. You can visit The Cornell Store, or order online at www.store.cornell.edu. The web site has links to custom-configured Apple and Dell products with Cornell's discount.
The CIT Contact Center (aka HelpDesk) provides assistance in using campus network services such as Bear Access and RedRover Wi-Fi.
All students living in the Residence Halls receive wired network service, which lets you connect your computer directly to the Cornell campus network from your room.
The Computing at Cornell web site covers a variety of computer-related topics, including Bear Access, RedRover Wi-Fi, and other services.
