CU Print

CU Print is a campus printing service offered by Cornell Information Technologies. It's a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to print. With CU Print, you can use any networked computer to send files over the campus network to laser printers located in libraries, computer labs, and elsewhere. CU Print is available in these locations.

To use CU Print, you'll need your Cornell NetID and password, plus a CU Print account. A CU Print account has been created for all matriculated students.

You can use CU Print printers from a computer on or off campus. You'll need to install CU Print software to use it from a personal, non-lab computer; computers in labs already have the software installed. Some computer labs may have limited availability due to COVID-19 restrictions.

In order to install CU Print or print to a CU Print printer, you must be connected to one of Cornell's Wi-Fi networks (not including the Cornell-Visitor wireless network). If you're off campus, use CU VPN to connect to Cornell's network.

CU Print ensures a streamlined experience across printers, fees, and functionality:

  • A standardized printer fleet supported by a single vendor, Toshiba Inc.
  • An annual $15 print allocation for all matriculated undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, which covers roughly 200 pages of free black-and-white printing.
  • Environmental sustainability through PrintReleaf global reforestation.
