Cornell faculty, staff, and student researchers are eligible to submit proposals for AWS cloud computing credit grants through an Amazon Web Services and Cornell Center for Advanced Computing (CAC) partnership.

“Researchers are eligible for $5,000 to $25,000 in AWS credits and up to 8 hours of free CAC consulting services,” says CAC director Rich Knepper. “$100,000 in credits are available, but the timeline is tight with two-page maximum proposals due May 17th.”

CAC will help grant recipients adapt their research project to the cloud, identify cost-savings efficiencies, and manage data transfers or the archiving of data. Proposal submission details are available in the the Call for Proposals: Amazon Web Services Cloud Computing Credits announcement announcement in the CAC website.
