Delivery of Course Materials

Cornell University has many resources available to help faculty with the delivery of course materials ranging from computer labs and kiosks to real time class polling.

  • Blackboard is a web-based course management system for instructors to manage distribution of course materials, student assignments, course communications,  groups, collaborations, assessment, and other aspects of instruction for their courses.

  • E-Lists can be used to send email to your class if you choose not to use Blackboard.

  • Audio, video, and podcast hosting for courses.

  • Course web sites for hosting your own instructional website.

  • Academic Computer Labs:  Academic Technologies provides several instructional computer labs that may be reserved for teaching.  Along with access to networked computers, computer projection and standard Cornell software, the Academic Technologies team can install faculty provided software on lab computers.

For more information on computer lab locations, hours of operation, and installed software, or to make a request to reserve a computer lab or to install software, please visit the Academic Technology Labs page.
