JMP is a graphical statistical analysis application, with a focus on exploratory analytics. JMP is a product of The SAS Institute.

License Term

The JMP Pro volume license period runs from August 01 through July 31 of the following calendar year.  Your license is valid through the end of the current license period regardless of the date of purchase.  We are not able to offer prorated billing.

This software is licensed to Cornell University and its use is strictly limited to subscribed Cornell faculty, staff, and students at the main campus and affiliate facilities.  We currently offer JMP Pro 10, for Macintosh and Windows, for 32- and 64-bit systems.

Access to the software is restricted to individuals who have purchased a license for the current license period. If you have purchased a license, please select JMP software from the menu below to begin downloading. Please distribute in accordance with the number of licenses you purchased. Remember that you must be logged in with your NetID in order to enable the download.

License File

You must have purchased a 2013-14 JMP license to get the current license file. For new installations, the license file is included with the above download. 

If you have an existing JMP installation already on your computer, and the license has expired, you can apply the current license file to to your existing JMP application.  For step-by-step instructions, please see our online guide, How To Update Your JMP License File.

    • Windows 7 (Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions only)
    • Windows Vista (Home Premium, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions only)
    • Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3
  • Processor:
    • 32-bit:  Pentium 4, Athalon or higher
    • 64-bit: Intel Xenon, Core 2; AMD Opteron, Athalon, Turion; or higher
  • RAM: 
    • 32-bit: 1 GB minimum, 2GB recommended
    • 64-bit: 4 GB or more recommended
  • Disk Space:  600 MB minimum; 1GB recommended
  • Browser:  Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
  • Display: True (24-bit) color, with resolution of 1024x768 or higher; video card with hardware accelerated 2D & 3D drivers recommended
  • Database: UNICODE compliant ODBC 3.0 or higher (required only if connecting to a database)
* Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows 7 Starter Edition, and Windows 7 Home Basic are not supported.

Older Versions of JMP

CU Software can still support JMP 9 and JMP Pro 9, and we can continue to provide updated license files for these versions. If you need to download a JMP Pro 9 installer, please contact us

We can no longer provide support or updated license files for any versions of JMP earlier that JMP 9. We recommend that any JMP users upgrade to JMP Pro 10 at this time.
