Video Collaboration Services (VCS) meets the audio and video (AV) needs of instructors, researchers, and administrators by providing fee-based AV support tailored to their requirements. From presentation support to a fully managed AV environment, VCS has the staff, expertise, and equipment to meet your AV needs. To find out more, contact us.

  • Up to four DVDs of your event
  • An mpeg4 file suitable for posting to CornellCast
  • Submission to CornellCast
  • An embed code to embed the video in your blog, wiki, or website

Sound Reinforcement Package

  • Site survey
  • Loudspeakers and microphones configured specifically for your event and space
  • Audio engineer
  • An mp3 file of your event upon advance request**

Webcasting Package

  • Videographer
  • Single camera and professional microphone package
  • Live webcast
  • Mediasite Player with event description and presenter information* 
  • Mediasite Catalog upon request
  • Storage and streaming of your webcast for on-demand viewing
  • No AV or room sound support

Webcasting with Sound Reinforcement or AV Support Package

Ithaca-Weill Video Collaboration

If you are an instructor, staff member, or a researcher, and you collaborate between the Cornell Ithaca campus and Weill Cornell Medical College or WCMC-Qatar, videoconferencing support is made available for you at no fee.

Billing

Billing is done through the CIT Unified Billing System, the same system used for voice and data billing. Bills are viewable online the first of the month following the service date. If you have any questions or need help accessing the billing system, please contact the CIT Billing Office.
