University IT policies exist to maintain, secure, and ensure legal and appropriate use of a campus' information technology infrastructure. Cornell University IT policy seeks to place security and privacy policy specifics in service of each other in order to provide the campus community with a high quality, trusted and secure campus computing environment, and as a means of protecting and securing its property interests, data and intellectual property.
The Director of IT Policy is always happy to answer any questions you have regarding IT policy development, or to come and give presentations to your campus group, committee or association. Please contact her at tbm3@cornell.edu or at 4-3584.
