Social Media, Online Identity, and Reputation: Teach Privacy

The IT Policy Office has contracted with privacy expert Professor Daniel Solove to provide Cornell with a variety of tools, including video and text, that may be useful to "teach privacy" to our campus constituents.  Professor Solove is the John Marshall Harlan Research Professor of Law at the George Washington University Law School and is the coauthor of Information Privacy Law, the most widely-used casebook about information privacy law. Bruce Schneier, security technologist and author, writing in The Wall Street Journal, referred to Professor Solove as "one of the few [who] truly understands the intersection of law and technology."
