An ad hoc working group interested in promoting this work has been formed: Cornell Privacy Information Management (CPIM). This group is open to any interested member on campus and invites stewards, their delegates, college officers, information technology managers and security liaisons in particular given their involvement in a number of information management projects over the last several years. At this time, interested members are making connections within their units or around campus, becoming more informed and in some cases credentialed as privacy professionals (IAPP offers certification) and discussing how best use of these tools while still under contract.
