Computing at Cornell News is open to announcements and news items from Cornell’s IT, technical, and computing community.
Submissions are invited from special interest groups (SIGS); IT-related committees and working groups from across campus; Cornell’s distributed IT community; Cornell Information Technologies; student groups with an IT mission or focus; and academic and research computing groups.
Cornell faculty and staff: Use the Submit News form. A CIT moderator will review your article, contact you and/or edit the article if needed, then post it.
Cornell students: If you also have a job at Cornell, use the Submit News form. Otherwise, send your article to citnews-web@cornell.edu. A CIT moderator will review it, contact you and/or edit the article if needed, then post it.
News items will be posted within one to 24 hours, Monday through Thursday. CIT will make every effort to post news submitted on Friday on the same day. Otherwise, Friday submissions will appear the following Monday, except holidays.
If your news item is urgent, for example, there is an outage of a critical service; an event is happening tomorrow; or many people are affected by an IT incident; please use the Check here for Immediate Posting field on the form. The CIT moderator will immediately review and process these items.
